You know, there is so much material, so much backstory. She could be done with Harry and still play with this world forever.
Now I have a fantasy where WB has some dirt on JKR. And after Book 7 is done, they tell her "OK, Jo, thanks for the second billion, now just give us a trilogy about the Blacks and we'll burn the negatives."
Or else JKR herself, after finishing the series, confronts the essential emptiness of life in a castle, with a loving family and piles of money, and decides that she will have no peace until she starts work on a new series about the Marauder era.
