Hi. I hate to slip into such a nice discussion as the two of you are having, but I disagree that love must be the basis of morality. In my opinion, for whatever weight that's worth, morality has to exist even despite there being no love. It's much easier to be moral regarding someone loveable than it is to stick to high standards if we think the guy's a jerk and he deserves everything anyone can throw at him.
