It's so bizarre the way she creates brilliant character arcs that turn out to be illusions--Dumbledore, Draco, Snape--I totally overshot what she was doing with all of them at one time or another. I shouldn't be surprised that they were all supporting characters that we didn't always see. I should have noticed that the Trio never had anything really interesting going on, and they were the ones she was concentrating on.
