It's funny because I try to at least be honest about what I don't want to see for my own personal reasons. Like, if I don't want to be convinced of a ship because I don't like a character or just don't like the idea, at least I try to be honest that I don't want to see it. After all, it's not really a bad thing to not get into a certain slash ship. It just gets to tiresome when people have to go beyond that and make it not just that they don't want to know if Remus/Snape is possible but that there's something wrong with people who ship Remus/Snape. There must be something wrong with them because if there isn't maybe it's perfectly valid!

For me, I almost find it just as fascinating personally to think about what ships I like. Which ones I don't want to know about, which ones don't bother me but don't interest me either and why. Sometimes I'll have a ship where I think I should like it maybe because I like the dynamic of the characters, but then I end up not liking it slashed.
