Yes, right now we've just got Harry's pov, and in his pov Snape and Draco seem to be two peas in a pod. Malfoy enjoys Harry doing badly in class and the first day he thinks Snape seems to like Malfoy. And he did overhear that conversation where Draco wants to put in a good word for Snape because he thinks he should be headmaster and Snape can't hide his smile. To me, that's the core of their relationship right there. Draco's kind of clueless but he thinks Snape's the best (maybe because he likes Draco and makes him feel accomplished in class) and Snape can't help but like him sometimes. Harry, I think, thinks Snape is smiling at the idea of being headmaster but I thought he was kind of amused by Draco.

Also, I guess I just laugh thinking of the idea of Snape making an 11-year-old like him. I mean, he's so sour and unsociable and if he's faking it he's amazingly good at this. I picture somebody telling him to make an 11-yera-old like him and Snape just staring at him like, "What do I do with it? I don't know what these things like."
