Yeah, there's something incredibly creepy about how much people just adore young beautiful women who are self-destructive. MM was a movie star but completely depressed and she killed herself. Diana was a princess but was also miserable. Nicole Brown Simpson just married a rich guy who abused her. Yay. And yeah, without teh pretty I don't think anybody would care so much.
