Absolutely--I've always thought of Neville as the ultimate Gryffindor because of that. Peter we didn't see when he was in school, but he probably came across the same way. In fact, there's also a boy in OotP that Harry looks at and comes across as looking very scared and nervous and I think he gets Gryffindor too.
