Aww, now I feel like my icons have done good in the world! Australian magpies are totally different birds, actually (I think my ROTK looks like one). They are shrikes, whereas the European magpies are corvids. The Australian ones have much prettier voices, though. I was amazed when someone sent me an audio file of what they sounded like.
I really love my little nun, though. Not that she's really mine--I found the picture on the 'net somewhere. She's standing in front of a gravestone too!
