So in some way I'd have to see Neville in Maya and I don't; but then it's possible I don't see the same Neville in canon.
You know...probably that's true. I mean, I remember Maya's first essay on Neville and I was like yup, that's Neville. But most people never talk about the aspects of Neville she was talking about. They talk about his being brave and standing up to his fears and things like that.
Nope, just... not there, y'know? Sometimes people are just-- oil and water because they're so... um, unsuitable for each other's company :>
But, err, that's often why they're unsuitable for each other's company or are oil and water--that they're Shadowy. Someone else might either not see your Uncle that way or would see and just sort of find it endearing.
