I'd say that Harry is ridiculously talented, but Hermione is ridiculously driven. What I mean by that is that Harry's got the mad skills right from the start, but Hermione has no natural magical ability beyond that which got her into Hogwarts and so relies on her schoolbooks and a superior memory to come out ahead.
