I may be giving the impression my impression was different than it was. That is, it totally worked for me in the movie and I couldn't see it really working any other way. It was only afterwards when I thought about it in an isolated way that I thought this. So we may have been more alike in our reactions than it seems. I bought it completely within the movie.
