Yes, that becomes more of an issue especially in HBP where you're stuck watching the real story from an obstructed seat. You feel like you're always craning your head around Harry's big head in front of you to see what's going on in Slytherin and wanting to know more of the shades in there.
That's a perfect description of how I've felt about Harry since OotP - and in HBP it becomes so blatantly obvious that we're watching some side plot to the real story, it's not funny any more.
