One for Sorrow

IMHO, leadership always leads to wank. That is, divisiveness, partisanship, inflamed passions, arguments, suspect logic. Partially because those are the most efficient means to maintaining and expanding power, which is certainly the goal of some leaders, but also, I think, because people in general like to follow something bigger than themselves, and will defend those treasured allegiances tooth and nail.
