Woohoo! That's great. Writing lyrics is hard - they have to scan just so for the music. Has the friend of friends any plans to record these songs now?
I'd brought a notebook along so I could look like a music critic or something if I was sitting alone... Notebooks are incredibly handy things - part novel, part shopping list, part shield against judging eyes. :D
