I am actually almost crying right now. That has been my favourite book since i first read it, and it gets re-read every single year. That's just not right. I want th BBC to take the book and do one of their lovely low-budget miniserieses like they used to...that would be perfect. It shouldn't have been given to my country's filmmakers, they don't know what they're doing.
