The Mothers of all Mothers

I walked to work today past a large line of delegates, some of whom were decked out in red, white and blue, complete with fringe vest and cowboy hat. 'Nuff said.

This weekend I was thinking about mothers--I think it's the Molly Weasley-vibe that's been going around lately. (In fact, there was a very good post on the subject on my flist today.) What all this set me thinking about is what I suppose I would call

( the mother of all mothers stereotype. )
