Mourning and Loss

I went to see Brokeback Mountain yesterday and was just as shattered as expected. It's incredibly faithful to the story, though I managed to forget key points until they were upon me so I could be freshly affected by them. Then I had an excellent time at the...what was the place called? It was a cowboy bar and grill that served excellent chicken fried chicken. Chicken fried chicken and fandom conversations--who needs anything more? Also, if you go into the bathroom of the place you will now find a little tribute to Jack -n- Ennis there.:- ) ( Being extra cautious for spoilers. )

Also sort of related I now realize, I've been taking this Dark Goddesses course that I mentioned before and mention if there's something that might be of interest. In the last lesson I read about Hecate and Persephone and could write about whatever struck me most upon reading about them. This is what did. There are a few things that made me think of Brokeback Mountain, but in general it's about the way death is viewed, which I thought people might have thoughts on. ( So here it is. )
