No, not a question to answer in essay form, but a question about essays. I was reading one on ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
hp_essays and I had a lot of trouble with the whole argument in it but this isn't about that. It's that I read more than one comment where people instructed the poster not to use "I think" or to use the first person ever in an essay. ( Is that something with which others agree? )
I wonder how many "I thinks" and "I guesses" and "I whatever elses" there are in this post alone! It seems uncharacteristically low on "imos."
