Thanks for your comment on Gollum! I was beginning to feel isolated as the world seems flooded with all the Gollum love/praise that I simply don't get. To me he's cartoonish and *unreal*, because real people can never get THIS entirely selfish, unless in extreme cases.. Gollum is very primal, lacks ANY subtlety and his display of self-conflicts so over-the-top, I can only see him as a comedian-like villain and no more!
