Oh I agree--in fact, I should have said that probably one of the main things that interests me about this character is the adults he's connected to. I think I'd easily say one of my favorite things about the series is the way the actions of the adults effect the lives of the children. I try to write about that--it's really hard! But the adults are all completely compelling--more than the kids for me as well, in general. Even the Slytherins are interesting more as potential, while Sirius and Snape, as two examples, are interesting grown-up people.
