I see what you mean, though. Particularly since lj is so personalized-it's partially a journal and people aren't usually trying to be all that objective in a journal. They're not always wanting to discuss things rationally and are just letting out their own emotions. Unfortunately those emotions sometimes bring up emotions in other people etc...
