That's such a good point about not seeing the way people act, isn't it? I mean, I've met a few people off lj and there's always that moment of--whoa--when you've got their lj persona next to their real life persona. My favorite example is always somebody who said I was much bigger on the 'net than I am in real life.

I really like most posts you write, because they always offer something to think about. Sometimes I'm too exhausted to answer, but I always read them. Another thing I like about them, is that they always open for discussion. I don't know how you do that, but you do.

Like I was saying to [livejournal.com profile] fictualities, I think I always hope to start a good discussion but it's pure luck when I do. I'm just glad people show up--I think it's the comments that more decide whether it's going to be a discussion or not, you know? Thinking back it seems like sometimes the posts that generate the most discussion are the ones I think are the most basic, if that makes sense. Something I might think of as this new, mind-blowing theory just won't be that inspiring.

I can't think of something I haven't written about either! If I do think of it, I'll probably do a post.;-)
