And not just pre-slash but clean slash--i.e., the story is about or includes as characters a same-sex couple, but in the diagesis they blow stuff up or catch criminals or colonize a new planet or fight Voldemort or discover the cause and cure of an epidemic...but they don't have "on-screen" sex.
