Heh--seriously I think all non-writers in fandom should stand tall and accept that we're just as much of the experience as a fanfic writer. After all, aren't we really ALL non-writers in whatever fandom we're in, in terms of the source material? None of us have written Harry Potter, none of us are the subjects of our own RPS, yet we feel free to comment on those things and write about them through fic and meta.
