Up till now I've been pretty neutral about Kate. She came off as a woman just cursed with this HORRIBLE judgment, which I thought was cause she'd been damaged and couldn't see things clearly till it was too late.
Still think that, except that now I've come to dislike her intensely for it. Its true... knowing more about her past didn't help, cause Kate is basically Jinx Girl who will suck you into a cloud of misfortune that dogs her steps and somehow spares her, but fries everyone else she gets to know pretty much on contact.
Yeah - I think she needs to go. What 's left to discover about her? We know now why that little plane meant so much to her and she's confessed about the marshal. What remains except to find even more innovative ways for her to get people around her killed?
Interestingly enough, my daughter hated her on sight from the first show on. Whenever Kate was featured in a scene daughter could be heard muttering "hooker..." A tad shocking for mom to hear... but now I find I'm finally empathizing with that sentiment.
