Just got my phone bill. Apparently for a while there my dial-up connection was using a number in another area code and charging per minute.

Hundreds. of. dollars. on. phone. bill.

Fuck.

Ironically, my first response to this horrible news was to go online and look at my account, then whine about it on my lj.

Fuck again.

p.s. And lj is being really weird and posted this a million times. How embarassing.

p.p.s. Now it claims the entry is there, but it appears to be invisible. I guess I can live with that.

Not at your horrible phone bill, but at scrolling down my friends page and seeing your icon come up repeatedly, like a pattern, with the word "fuck" at regular intervals. Sort of like a mantra.

Hope you get your bill straightened out...

I went through all of them and tried to delete them. Sometimes it said it was deleted, then it would show up again! My own lj is alternating between showing 9 entries and showing just the one.

I swear I only hit update the once!

The fuck can now be said to apply to lj as well as Verizon. :-)

What??? Somebody is harassing her? I LOVE her fics!!! And she so should not have to be dealing with that now. I'm going to try to report it too. Hope FA lets me in.

I have a feeling I'm going to have to just pay the phone bill. I think it has to do with when Manhattan had this change in the phone service--it's a long story, but I think it made my internet briefly start using a phone number that was further away and not covered by my unlimited service. And oh god, I think it included the weekend of just_harry's outing on nocturne_alley so I racked up a LOT of time...

Have you already discovered the idiot that has been harassing her? I've been trying to report her for two days now, but it just doesn't work. Here is the thread. Just roll down to Rvampire's post, then you'll understand what I was talking about. And that isn't all. On the second page of the thread, this girl explains she's been dreaming of killing people. Disgusting. Melissa said she has written an e-mail to the mods, because the reporting thing just doesn't work. Damn.

I'm really sorry about this phone bill. Why did they have to change the phone service exactly when just_harry outed himself? Sometimes life is so unfair.

I did see the thread--what a loon this person is. Flamming fags? And the accusations that his/her girlfriend was killed by gays? This person needs help.

I did try to report the post but I got an error message too.

I almost wish the phone bill would just be due already so I could put it behind me. I got my last payment for a book a week or so ago and a big chunk of that is just going to have to pay for it. So I'd rather just not look at it, you know? Knowing that it's going to be gone soon...:-)
